Cristina's postcards never disappoint me, that's one certainty I have! This one comes from the place where she was born, Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands. I was actually there once, in 2009, when I made a cruise that had a stop there; I remember it was a very volcanic place, very hot and humid, but very nice, even though I couldn't visit the resorts and beaches I know it has, only the mountains... and I rode a camel, yes! Cristina also told me Lanzarote only is 61km long from North to South and 21km long from East to West, so little and nice.
