This map card - which I appreciated, because I don't have many - shows The Fens. Ely (Leo's hometown) sits in a low outcrop of crop in what used to be marshland. The whole area what drained by the Dutch in the 17th century and this area, which has very fertile land, is good to grow vegetables and some fruit.
