Natalia sent me one of her favorites views from her city - which, by the way, is my favorite city in Russia! I think it must be very beautiful and I hope one day I can see it for myself. Well, with each postcard I learn a little bit more and with this one I learnt that the Ice Palace is a reconstruction from the original one, which was built in the 18th century in honour of Empress Anna's coronation 10th anniversary.
