How beautiful is this?! Oh my God, sometimes I really am lucky when it comes to postcards! I remember clearly being in Rome back in 2008, with around 42ºC outside and being completely crazy with the heat, and there was a little fountain next to the Fontana di Trevi and we stayed in line for a while just to be able to get to that little one, to drink and basically bathe ourselves in it, because it was impossible outside. Still one of the best days I had in my life, and this card brought me to it, it's so beautiful and huge and amazing and I don't have words to thank Laura for it.
Now for a little bit of culture that she passed on to me: this fountain was designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Pietro Bracci. It's the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous world, having starred in many famous films, such as "La Dolce Vita" by Fellini.
