From: Josh (Sirsi, India)
Depicts: Taj Mahal (Agra, India)

Finally! I had been waiting anxiously for a postcard from India ever since I first started collecting card and finally it arrived! Josh proposed the direct swap to me and I agreed, thinking it would take very long for the card to arrive to me... but it didn't, in ten days mine got to him and his to me.
And I was already expecting to get the Taj Mahal and wasn't disappointed at all, it's so beautiful. The Taj Mahal is a seventeenth century marble mausoleum located on the right bank of Yamuna River in Agra City. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife and is widely regarded as the "Monument of Love". It represents the finest architectural and artistic achievement through perfect harmony and excellent craftsmanship in a whole range of Indo-Islamic architecture. It's a UNESCO world heritage site and appears in several listings of the seven wonders in the world. I wish I could visit!

Postcard stamps:
The first flower is the Himalayan bellflower, the second is the Hymalaian Iris an the third stamp is about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, an Indian jurist, politcian, philosopher, anthropologist, historian and economist.
