Depicts: Official Liverpool Football Club card
I really like this card - even though I'm a Chelsea fan, my dad is a Liverpool one and I've grown to like the team quite a bit, especially since my favorite player also played there for many years. And I just love Steven Gerrard too. Well, moving on, this was a direct swap I proposed and it shows Liverpoo'ls triple decker tour bus: a double-decker bus with the Liverpool squad aboard is greeted by half a million fans as they celebrate the unprecedented 2001 treble cup success (Worthington Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Cup).
Bernardette also told me something I didn't know about the term "Scousers" - although I knew that was the name the Liverpool inhabitants (and the team's supporters) were coloquially known by, I didn't know its origin. It's actually a reference to the local dish: 'scouse' is a form of stew (lamb or beef). It's also a synonym for Liverpool's accent and dialect.
