Depicts: View from Haguenau

Dominique told me a little about his life and work and I really like when people do that, as I've already said many times. He also told me a little about Haguenau, a city that dates from the beginning of the XII century, when the German King and Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa built a big palace there, where the crown jewels of the Holy Roman Empire were preserved. That palace was later destroyed, but a few historical buildings remain in the city, like the Fisherman's tower, which dates from 1275. Finally, Dominique told me that he walks around the city and every day he crosses that nice bridge you can see in the picture. I loved all of this and want to visit Alsace!

Postcard stamp:
I loved this stamp especially because of my father, who's the biggest fan of "Le Tour de France". The stamp celebrates the tour's 100th edition.
