This card is one of my Christmas favorite, amongst all I've gotten last year. Besides the usual Christmas wishes, Sigrid told me that in the same day she wrote the postcard she was going to Singapore to meet her daughter who studies there, and then they were going to have a vacation at Myanmar and Taiwan. I love it when people share with me these apparently unimportant details but that make me feel closer to them, like we're, maybe, old friends sharing stories.

I really liked the stamp on the right (the other too, but it's more common to get it) so I researched a little and it's about the Nationalpark Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer (Wadden Sea National Park) - a very savage but very natural and beautiful place.
