Another beautiful card from a direct swap - I was really lucky with the people I chose to exchange cards with me, really. Simone told me this temple complex in Selinunte was candidate to becoming part of the UNESCO World Heritage and that this ancient site was founded by Greek in 650 b.C. Back then it was a really important part of the country and had about 100.000 inhabitants. This temple in particular is now called the "Temple C" because they couldn't figure out to what God it was built and it was rebuilt to ressemble how it originally looked.
