#29

Received: October 30th, 2013
From: Eva (Copenhagen, Denmark)
Depicts: Savior's Church at Christianshavn (Copenhagen, Denmark)

This was another direct swap I proposed - Eva said she chose this building because it's one of her favorites in her city. At first I didn't realize it, but it's actually a church! I've never seen one like it and it got me really curious, so I researched about it. The Savior's Church at Christianshavn (Christian district in Copenhagen) was built between 1695 and 1752 and it's very well known due to its uncharacteristical layout. It's also known for its carrillon, which plays beautiful melodies every day, hourly, from 8 a.m to midnight. One of the things I'll want to visit if I ever go to Denmark.
