From: Sara Delgado (Porto, Portugal)
Depicts: Views of the Barri Gòtic (Barcelona, Spain)
This one came from one of my best friends, Sara, who shares with me the passion for collecting postcards. She knows I love Barcelona so she sent me this one who shows a little map  one of the city's nicest places, the Barri Gòtic (or Gothic Quarter). It has images of the Cathedral, the Ajuntament (town hall), the Palau de la Generalitat (the offices of the Presidency of the Generalitat de Catalunya), the Plaça del Rei (King's Square), the Casa de l'Ardiaca (House of the Ardiaca (one of the oldest buildings in the city), the Plaça (Square) Ramon Berenguer and the Carrer del Bisbe (Bishop's Street). It's very pretty and I remember all these places from my holidays there this Summer, so this card kind of takes me back there, which I love. Also I love that it came from one of my best friends.
Postcard stamp:
If you live somewhere in Europe (except Spain) and you've gotten a postcard from Portugal, this was probably the stamp you got, because it was the most used in 2013 and now in 2014.
