#254

Received: June 2nd, 2014
From: Morgane (Paris, France)
Depicts: "The Pink Dancers, Before The Ballet" by Edgar Degas

It was great to get my first official card this week. It's a reproduction of Degas's "The Pink Dancers, Before The Ballet", which suits me because I danced ballet for 10 years and my favorite dresses were always the pink ones!

Postcard stamps:

Really special stamps (on the right), since they are Argelian!

#253

Received: June 2nd, 2014
From: Thomas (Leipzig, Germany)
Depicts: Views from Halle, Germany

A direct swap that Thomas proposed to me when I favorited this card on the site. I found the architecture exquisite and I've never seen anything like it in any of the places I've ever visited, so it was fine to get this card, I really liked it.

#252

Received: June 2nd, 2014
From: Brandon (Baltimore, USA)
Depicts: Dog

I won this card in a lottery in the Postcrossing forum, which is something I always appreciate because there are many people "competing" for them and I rarely am lucky. So I got this card that Brandon got at what he called "the world's largest postcard shop", a place he called "misleading" because the majority of the cards are old, but at least they are cheap!

Postcard stamp:
A global stamp I didn't know!

#251

Received: June 2nd, 2014
From: Thomas (Vienna, Austria)
Depicts: Empress Sissi's Statue

I was happy to get this card, since, as I've said many times, I really like Empress Sissi. This is a statue of her that's in the "Volksgarten", a park in Vienna which Thomas told me it's good do sit, read a book and dream. Something to check out if I ever visit Vienna!
